This one-day Pre-conference eventat 2014 E-Learning Africa International Conferencewas organized by NetSquared Ugandaand was held at Speke Resort on 28th May 2014 from 09:00am to 05:00pm in Kampala, Uganda. It was sponsored by NetSquaredand Techsoup Global.

The one-day NetSquared-Uganda workshop explored, shared live experiences and provided practical hands-on training in Developing Practical Skills in Blogging for selected 2014 E-Learning Africa Delegates. This parallel session on the Raise of mFarmers in Africa (MOB25) was conducted during the recently concluded E-Learning Africa 2013 International Conference in Windhoek Namabia on 30th May 2013 from 16:45 to 18:15. The session was chaired by Mr. Giacomo Rambaidi of Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA) of Netherlands and two speakers managed to turn up for their paper presentations and these were John Gushit of University of Jos, Nigeria who presented a paper on “Facilitating the Optimal Utilization of Pesticides by peasant Farmers Using Mobile Technology” and myself (Robert Kibaya) of Uganda who presented on “Mobile Telephony Technologies That Support Communication and Fundraising Needs of a Rural Community Development Organization: A KIRUCODO Live Experience”. On 29th May 2013 during the recently concluded E-Learning Africa 2013 International Conference,  I (Robert Kibaya) conducted a full-day training workshop on Practical Innovative Blogging and Online Group Collaboration for development from 09:00am to 05:00pm.
