Practical Innovative Blogging and Online Group Collaboration for Development

On 29th May 2013 during the recently concluded E-Learning Africa 2013 International Conference,  I (Robert Kibaya) conducted a full-day training workshop on Practical Innovative Blogging and Online Group Collaboration for development from 09:00am to 05:00pm. The participants had access to all the training material uploaded at this blog link.  More information about this particular training session can be accessed from this link . All together there were 13 participants from nine countries pulled from different work sectors as you can have a look at this List.

Challenges

Very poor internet connectivity which failed right from the very beginning up to the end. Because of this, I was forced to borrow up a 3G modem from a Namibian participant which I utilized just to demonstrate to participants what to do as they followed up from the projector screen.

In the evening we were told to vacate the room before time because the Namibian Prime Minister was going to have a meeting within the same hotel. This was so strange to most of the participants and we had to completely stop from there.

Special Thank you to:

CTA for the scholarship AND Mr. Giacomo R of CTA for mentoring

E-Learning Africa for sponsoring the training

My Organization (Communications Without Borders Ltd) for all the support
